Graduate programmes

The Free Technology Academy does not only continue after the initial
period supported by the EC's Lifelong Learning Programme, we also
expand the number of courses available! We hope to keep growing and
are working towards a complete International Masters Programme. In
this newsletter the tentative programme for 2011, our discount
policies, news on the fascinating lecture by Jon 'maddog' Hall and an
introduction to our future plans.

1. FTA Programme 2011

The Free Technology Academy offers three rounds of courses in 2011.

The Creative Industries in the UK has shown itself to be diverse, vibrant, expanding and
a net contributor to the UK economy. With this dynamic picture in mind, Bournemouth
University's Media School is launching a Professional Doctorate for the Creative
Industries.

The academic standing of the qualification is equivalent to that of a Doctor of
Philosophy (PhD) and provides a qualification of intrinsic value and status leading to
the title 'Doctor'.

University of Leeds - Faculty of Education, Social Sciences & Law
Up to 18 University Research Scholarships are available for UK and EU students for Session 2010-2011 for study in any Faculty at the University of Leeds.  Up to 2 awards are available in each Faculty.

The Postgraduate Studies in ICT & Media Law programme focuses on acquiring an advanced level of knowledge of European ICT & Media Law, on gaining insights in a number of disciplines that are closely connected to ICT & Media Law (technology, economy, socio-political, cultural and media studies), and on obtaining practical legal skills in this field.
